New Pastors training in inductive study method

Inductive Bible Study training for Village pastors We have started a 3 1/2 month trial with Brian McCarthy teaching
groups of pastors who gather for 2 weeks to learn how they can study
the bible in-depth using the inductive study method. these pastors
are so excited when they start to see they can understand the scripture.

New Base - an amazing prayer center

Our property is becoming a place where people love to come and pray
because of the lovely gardens. We are so grateful to God for providing u with such an amazing base and home in the midst of malawi. We can host teams of 15+ and have our while staff team living on site. We have hosted worship conferences in our prayer and worship marquee we regularly have 20 sitting around the huge dining table. It took us a year to find somewhere but God had this place saved for us. I especially love the gardens to go and walk around and pray, our prayer tent is under some trees with an amazing view. What a privilege to spend hour each day seeking God with other passionate Christians. Asking that he would release revival here.

Amazing Brazilian and Mozmabican team visited us for 2 weeks

What a week this was. we distribute healings d 10 tons of maize,
preached the gospel to 3000+ people, saw hundreds of, and to top all
of that one of the team set his head on fire trying to fire breath
with petrol instead of paraffin. I will never forget that paraffin is
gazolina in portuguese.

Village Evangelism

This last season has seen some of our most fruitful village
outreaches when we where feeding orphans training pastors, healing
the sick and preaching the gospel. In one Evening recently more than
50 where healed and almost 300 people made first time commitments to
Jesus with a baptismal class running the next day it is encouraging
to see continuing church growth.

A visit to the lake

With all the visitors recently, one thing we have enjoyed doing was
to taking them to see elephants in the park and visit lake malawi.
ben loved the water and amazing fish with fish eagles swooping in
from above to catch the fish threw to them.

Our Over grown Vegetable garden

Clumps of banana trees and sugar cain stick up from amongst the snake
ridden overgrown grass soon to be our abundant vegatable patch
producing all our veg i hope.

Gospel Jazz Band

Suzys love of music has connected us to many worshipers in the city as
she has started playing in a few jazz worship bands and as a session
musician at an album launch.

Ministry Development course

We have started training local people who are doing various ministries
so they can have their own websites and better communication. We
believe it is always best to come underneath and serve local christian
workers and lift them into their potential, this course is a way to do
this.

 We are excited about the connection with this church movement here
in Malawi because as you may know Suzy and I first met at Exeter
Vineyard. We love the non religious mandate on the Vineyard and that
was the theme of this conference for my speaking "From religion to
relationship" also Holy Spirit demonstrated that it is not "the man
of God" who is the one with the power to heal. After showing the
Jesus movie, the children who had received Christ as their saviour,
became the ministry team praying for the sick and as they prayed
everybody was healed. To our surprise when we asked the Muslim
village head man up to speak as we wanted to honour him after he had
sat through the Jesus movie and healings etc. He said "…they are
preaching the gospel about Jesus and we all need this" wow it seems
that Muslims like it when people are healed God is so wise and
awesome and we can all be used by Him, even the children can release
His kingdom of healing and life! Praise Him for using weak people
like me and you!

Christmas Shopping Done?
To be honest we have not even started to think about what we will get
for friends and family yet, sorry guys! We have been planning how to
bless hundreds of orphans in Malawi and Mozambique though and thought
that you might like to join us in blessing them. Jesus said "when you
did it for the least of these you did it for me" and so helping
orphan families who would otherwise be hungry this Christmas to us
seems to be a good way to give a gift to Jesus. Maybe you would like
to give a gift to the children at an orphanage this Christmas or
provide food for an orphan cared for in the community? Here is a
couple of ways that you can give a meaningful gift this Christmas.



A gift of 50kgs of maize to an orphan
and their carers down in the Shiri valley this christmas where there
has been 100% crop failure this year due to late rains. We already
have 12 tons of maize stored ready, so now we need £650 to cover the
cost of delivery and the children’s programs and evangelism that our
team will do as we distribute. The cost per orphan is about £2.50 we
think that is a great gift to add to your Christmas stocking. e-mail

The team saw so many saved and healed in Kalonga and southern
Malawi. About 5000 attended the meetings and just under 1000 people
register a first time decision for Christ.Here are some testimonies
by Pastor Enock of people healed as the love of Jesus Christ manifest
showing them the gospel is true!

Jesus healed many people and at Kambito Village after showing Jesus
film 181 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour we
prayed for the sick there and Jesus heals all of them including a 13
years boy who came at the back of his mother, he couldn’t walk
properly for 9 years, the knee was swollen and his ankle too and that
after we prayed for him Jesus healed him. He walked back home alone
without any help that night and the next morning he walked again to
us with his mother telling us that they had a very good sleep last
night without any pain and he said now he will start going to school.
We all thanked Jesus for the healings he has done in this village and
right is a picture of the boy and his mother.

It was at Mwaungulu Village on the night of 8th November 2010, we
were showing the Jesus film at this village, 100 people received
Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and saviour and after the movie
we were praying for the sick and about 30 people came forward to be
prayed for different diseases, one of them was a man who had his
daughter admitted at the hospital, she had anemia (shortage of blood)
and the doctors said that the next morning (of 9th November 2010) she
will be transferred to the big hospital (District Hospital) so that
she came have blood in her body. We prayed for the father mentioning
the name of the girl Lucia Gama (the father gave us the name of his
daughter) that night. The next morning the Doctors went to the ged of
the girl to do the final check and that she should call the Ambulance
to take her to go to the big hospital. The doctors find she has
enough blood and there is nothing wrong with her, instead of going to
big hospital she was discharged from the hospital. The next night we
went to the village 5 kms away from Mwaungulu Village where she
lives, she walked there, she gave her testimonies after the Jesus
film about what Jesus did for her at the hospital.

The students of the Mzuzu DTS 2010

This month Daniel taught a Discipleship School about knowing Holy Spirit and growing in his fruit and power. At the end of the week after receiving from Holy Spirit some new gifts from him we took them out on the streets of Mzuzu to see how Holy Spirit would manifest Gods love through us. One student received 3 ‘clues’ from the Holy Spirit as we waited on God in a prayer time before we went out, “man” “wood market” and “joint pain”. We asked people in the market if they had joint pain and nobody spoke up. Except one man who did need healing from TB. Praise God he said he could breath ok after prayer but he was not the man with joint pain. Then a lady asked for prayer for a painful stomach and was healed. Finally the shop owner who had been watching all this time said it was him, he was the one with joint pain. What did Holy Spirit do? He showed that man how much God loves him by removing all pain and restoring the strength of his arms.

For the last week our team has been walking through the mountains evangelizing amongst hard to reach villages that are infrequently visited. This was an exciting development as we have been training this team to use the Jesus movie equipment over the past 6 months and this was their first time without me with them. Wow God did so much, here are a couple of testimonies to give you a taste ow what God did.

Testimony of Mrs Namgoomi
We where showing the Jesus Movie in Chigumula in the mountains in Mangochi region where Chimwala is the Head Man. A lady who was so sick she could not walk was brought for prayer. Her husband was carrying her and said she was not eating or drinking so was so ill. She told us her heart beat was bad running to fast with pain and her legs where to weak to walk and she had pain all over her body. The pastors gathered around her and placing their hands on her they prayed and in the name of Jesus she was healed. From that day on where ever we went in the mountains walking sometimes 3 or 4 hours between villages she followed us to see the movie again and to tell everybody what Jesus had done for her. Through her story God opened a mighty door of opportunity as faith increased at her testimony in every village and more than 100 people where healed of every kind of sickness in those 4 days. We smiled when we saw her dance each night to the song by Ethel Kamwendo about giving testimonies of Gods goodness.

Salvation in the Mountains
In monekela, a tiny village 3 hours trek from any road along tracks you would expect to be for goats through the scorched dry season mountains, 250 people gathered to see the movie and 25 gave their lives to jesus for the first time. The local pastor or in chichewa “Abusa” who’s name is Kanda Pako will be visiting all 25 of these new believers to discuss what God is doing in their libves and invite them to church. We find that the personal contact of a local pastor can mean that these new babes in christ become disciples of Jesus. But we were so blessed to see one lady who we are confident will be praising with the rest fo the congregation this sunday. She was so excited to have Jesus in her heart she announced over the microphone for all to hear that she was a Christian now and this was her church.
